Linda’s passionate desire for designing interiors to accommodate her client’s lifestyle has culminated in her recent book, Define Your Life - Design Your Home.

Through years of research, gleaning experience from her design career, and performing workshops, Linda was finally able to develop an all encompassing program to help her clients embrace and articulate their unique living style. Her program is based on the Seven Lifestyle Principles she developed. She has used these principles over the years to help her clients clarify their definition of home, envision their best lifestyle, and design their home to reflect that vision.

Today, we know that our environment can have a profound effect on our behavior and well being. Interior designers can put this knowledge into action only when they have a clear understanding of the design needs of the client. Define Your Life - Design Your Home introduces the seven principles that help you discover and define your lifestyle: Order, Function, Aesthetics, the Five Senses, Rituals, Traditions, and Hospitality. We all have our unique patterns of behavior and personal preferences within these principles. When you read through these principles and complete the exercises at the end of each chapter, you will have acquired the necessary knowledge describing your unique living behaviors. This is the material you will use to make those design decisions that will make your home a personal haven.

Learn to recognize the nuances that define how you live, then employ this information to create the foundation for creating a home that envelops your way of life. No more wondering if the floor should be wood or carpet, the wall paint cream or red, or the decor classic or contemporary. Save money by avoiding expensive purchases you later regret. Feel comfortable in a home that is distinctly your personal style.
